14th February 2014 at 6.04pm 1 Leopard at Kudapatessa N 08.43271, N 079.99158
It was a male leopard and was sleeping on the edge of the Villu on the Kuruttupandi Villu end. As it was late we had to leave to reach the park entrance. Later upon examination of the images I realized that the leopard is Nelum Wila Male 1 (NWM 1) that I had photographed in June 2012. (With guide Sanath)

16th June 2012 at 5.30pm. After the vehicles had left, I drove towards Panikkar Villu and turned back towards Nelum Wila expecting to see PVM 1 on the road. Observed fresh pug marks of a leopard walking ahead of us. About one km from where we saw PVM 1 we observed another adult male leopard.

Photographed it and named it NWM 1. It was within the Panikkar Wila male´s territory and was scent marking. (With guide Saranga)
